Wake Up And Smell The Iodex

Notwithstanding the widespread devastation caused by last year's cricket match, SEQC will hold its annual cricket match this Sunday. Luckily, most people don't need their hamstrings to quiz, or mass absenteeism would prevail in the months to follow.
Following the match, we shall all repair to Bambolim Beach for drinks, lunch and a swim, not necessarily in that order.

Margao chapter of SEQC to make its debut

Directions: From Panjim/Cortalim take the NH17 to Margao. Just outside Margao, you will pass the Kadamba Bus Stand on your left. Go straight past Colva circle into Margao town. The road turns left and goes past the Holy Spirit Church. Just after the church, turn right, proceed for 100 metres, you will see the Hospicio Hospital to your left. The Urban Health Centre is bang opposite the Hospital.

For those coming by bus, take any bus from the Margao KTC bus stand to the Municipal Market or Kamat Hotel or old bus stand and get down at Hospicio Hospital. Shuttle buses from Panjim or Vasco come directly to the Hospicio Hospital.

Setting questions to music

During this quiz, when someone asks 'What's the score?' it might not be the points tally they are talking about. Movie man Sachin Chatte brings his wide-ranging knowledge of music to the table in setting what will hopefully become another SEQC staple.

Introducing - SEQCm

The Madgaonkars in SEQC have had enough of all this driving 35 kms to and fro every time we Ponjekars decide to have a quiz and have decided to give us a taste of our own medicine. The Margao chapter/branch/offshoot of SEQC will be launched this month-end, so lets all be there to support it.
